Reports Say Wilder Rejects DAZN!

Deontay Wilder had the chance to gain more than 7 figures, if he signed with DAZN, like the Super Middleweight Champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, however Wilder could of rejected this offer! DAZN offered Wilder a chance to fight Anthony Joshua twice and get paid over $100 Million for it, however Wilder may of rejected that offer. He is going to announce who he will be fighting in a news conference this afternoon (Tuesday 19th March 2019). It is rumoured that he will be fighting Dominic Breazeale since the WBC board has demanded him to fight Dominic Breazeale, after the mix up between Wilder and Fury. This fight will most likely be happening, so it is no secret who Wilder is going to be fighting next, however he still needs to have a rematch against Tyson Fury.

It is said that DAZN would have paid Wilder $20 million to fight Dominic Breazeale, $40 million to fight Joshua once and even if he lost in the first round, he would have got this money, $20 million for his third fight, no matter who it was, and another $40 million to fight Anthony Joshua again. Worst case scenario, Wilder loses to Joshua and gets his rematch later. So, no matter what, Wilder would have got $100 million regardless to what happened, however it is said that he’s rejected it! No one would have rejected this offer other than him! DAZNs main idea is to try and get Wilder to unify the Division, since that’s what Joshua is trying to do.

For a lot of people, no one knows why the Wilder and Fury fight didn’t go through. Tyson Fury wanted to have a fight against someone else before fighting Deontay Wilder again. So, we will be seeing the top 3 heavyweights fight other opponents instead of fighting each other to determine who is the best heavyweight in the division currently. So far, we can say Wilder cause he’s won and Knocked out more fighters than any of them, or we can say Joshua because he has got the most belts in the division, or Fury because he has proven to everyone after years of not boxing, he still had what it takes to fight the best!
