Official Boxing Rankings 2018! 30/10/18

Official Boxing Rankings 2018! 30/10/18

These are the Official Rankings of Two Divisions! Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight!

Heavyweight Division’s Top 5

Position Fighter Record Last fight
1 Anthony Joshua 22-0 W(TKO) v Alexander Povetkin
2 Deontay Wilder 40-0 W(KO) Luis Ortiz
3 Luis Ortiz 29-1 W(KO) Razvan Cojanu
4 Dillian Whyte 24-1 W(On Points) Joseph Parker
5 Alexander Povetkin 34-2 L(TKO) Anthony Joshua

In my opinion, Deontay Wilder should be at the top of the ranking due to him fighting more people! He is still holding a title and is still undefeated, he is one of the best fighters in the world right now because of his right hook! On the other hand, Joshua deserves the top spot because he owns the most titles and has won them all in fewer fights. If these two were to end up in the ring… no one would be able to call it. Joshua vs Wilder would be a close fight! If this fight were to happen I would think the fight would last the whole 12 rounds, Wilder and Joshua drawing on points up until the last round and one of the fighters will come out on top! I don’t think Wilder would be able to knock down Joshua, the same with Joshua knocking out Wilder. Joshua and Wilder needs to happen! To determine who is the best boxer of this generation! Also, I think that Joseph Parker should be in the top 5! Joseph Parker has proven to the world he has what it takes to become one of the best boxers in the world, as well as this, he held one of the titles that Joshua currently has! He was a world champion and deserves to be a part of this. Dillian Whyte deserved this spot as well as Povetkin. If Wilder loses to Tyson Fury, Tyson will be 3rd in this list. Since he hasn’t lost a fight yet ether!

 Cruiserweight Division’s Top 5

Position Fighter Record Last fight
1 Oleksandr Usyk 15-0 W(On Points) Murat Gassiev
2 Mairis Briedis 24-1 W(On Points) Brandon Deslaurier
3 Murat Gassiev 26-1 L(On Points) Oleksandr Usyk
4 Krzysztof Glowacki 23-1 W(KO) Santander Silgado
5 Yunier Dorticos 31-2 W(On Points) Mateusz Masternak

In my opinion, Oleksandr Usyk has done extremely well for himself! He is the undisputed champion right now and has only fought 15 times! What a great achievement for him, there’s a reason why he top of this list and that’s why. Tony Bellew should be up there, he has shown everyone why he’s one of the best boxers in the world! He will be fighting Usyk on the 10th November for the titles and if he wins that fight he is for sure going to be 2nd! If not, then maybe 3rd. His record is 30 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw. Decent stars and should be up there! Murat Gassiev should be second due to him still being undefeated and Mairis Briedis losing one fight, however these are just my opinions.

Both Divisions Top 5!

4 Mairis Briedis 24-1 W(On Points) Brandon Deslaurier

This is what the top 5 boxers would look like if the divisions were together… I would think!
