Joe Joyce Targeting Usyk!

Joe Joyce Targeting Usyk!

Joe Joyce has been getting through the rankings very quickly after beating Daniel Dubois. Both were considered rising stars, however Joyce is now on his way to fight for a world title. He recently went up against Joseph Parker, managing to knock him out in the 11th round of the contest. There is one man on his mind now!

Joe Joyce is now at the top of the WBO world heavyweight championship list. Meaning he is able to get a shot at the title, however since the fighter holds the other titles, all of them will be on the line!

Joe Joyce could end up becoming the unified heavyweight champion of the world if the deal gets made and put through.

Oleksandr Usyk is the man to beat right now, other than Tyson Fury, however the man to beat recently came back to the sport after fighting for his country and beat Anthony Joshua who was considered the best besides Fury.

“I’ve realised that people are taking me seriously now, A lot of people thought Parker was going to win. It was such a tough fight, but the way I dispatched him like that with that finish has changed minds.” said Joyce.

Joyce has went up against Usyk before, in the amateurs. This fight took place in 2013 in York Hall, Bethnal Green. The fight went the distance with Joyce coming out as the loser. Losing via unanimous decision. All three judges scored the bout 50-45.

This could be the time for Joyce to get his revenge on Usyk, however the fight is only in talks as Fury may want to try and get the fight with Usyk to happen.
