Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr Called Off?

Jake Paul has recently stated that he will be facing another professional fighter, known as Hasim Rahman Jr, this was set for the same time as the Jake Paul v Tommy Fury fight, however, this now may not be happening due to issues involving weight!

Jake Paul was set to face another boxer on August 6th as he wanted to prove to the world that he could beat a real fighter, rather than a UFC fighter. This has not gone according to plan, however.

Rahman Jr has stated that he wants the weight to be higher than the weight that has been finalized.

The weight was 200lbs, however, it was believed that Rahman Jr was unable to reach that weight as he was weighing in at 215lbs, this caused a lot of issues as the fight was coming closer and closer.

Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) said fellow American Rahman had signed an agreement to fight at 200lb but a weight check on Friday showed he was 215lb. BBC stated.

“MVP and Jake Paul will not reward someone that has conducted themselves in such a deceiving and calculated manner, the boxing community must hold Hasim Rahman Jr liable for his lack of professionalism.” said Jake Paul’s team!
