Jake Paul is proving to the world that he is going to become a great fighter in the future. Started out fighting YouTube stars like Deji and AnEsonGib, he has worked his way up to fighting multiple UFC fighters and has knocked out all but one UFC fighter right now. Anderson Silva.
American YouTube star Jake Paul ended up beating Anderson Silva over the weekend via a points decision.
The judges scored the contest, 77-74, 78-73, 78-73. All in favor of the winner Jake Paul. A lot of fans of boxing are surprised that Jake Paul managed to beat Anderson Silva.
“Man, it’s a surreal moment but hard work pays off, want to say thank you to Anderson – he inspired me to be great. Without him, we wouldn’t have a fight this year. I have nothing but respect for him. I started boxing two and a half years ago and I’ve just beaten one of the best strikers ever.” Stated Jake Paul during an interview.
Jake even managed to knock down Silva in the final round of the bout which was a shock to everyone watching this.
Nothing but respect has been given to the former UFC champion of the world and former pro fighter Anderson Silva.
Not only this, Jake Paul beat the man that was regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. Holding a belt from 2006 to 2013 and his record of 16 consecutive victories still stands.
