Joshua v Miller!

After so long, Joshua has finally found himself an opponent, however he won’t be fighting Miller in his backyard, he will be fighting Miller in New York, USA! Madison Square Garden is the venue of this incredible match up and will be taking place on the 1st June 2019! This fight has been said to ruin Anthony Joshua’s unbeaten run, since Jarrell Miller is very confident in beating the Englishman! This wasn’t the fight anyone was expecting, since Joshua was wanting to fight the likes of Wilder or Fury, but this could be one of his hardest fights, we just don’t know it yet! Before the fight was even announced, both Joshua and Miller have faced off before but… it wasn’t scheduled. This face off took place at the Joshua v Povetkin Press Conference, so we had an idea this fight was going to happen!

So far, there have been two press Conference that have taken place. One ended with Jarrell Miller, AKA “Big Baby” Shoving the undisputed champion Joshua as he went up to do a face off, and the other didn’t have much to offer, other than trash talking! Despite all of these we can see that Joshua is inside the head of Miller already and the fight is still a few months away. This could be huge for Joshua, since he is keeping his mind on the prize! Joshua has said he will knock the “big baby” out… in the fourth round that is! If this does end up happening, Joshua walks the walk and talks the talk! This is Joshua’s first time in USA and may not be his last time! We can be seeing more fights for him in USA in the future!

Both fighters have went the distances, went the whole 12 rounds! Surprisingly, Big Baby Miller has only went the whole 12 rounds once and this was against Johann Duhaupas on the 28th April 2018, winning on points and he has managed to draw one bout against Joey Dawejko in his early career. As for Joshua, he hasn’t drawn any matches and has been the distance once and going to the 11th round with Klitschko! Other than five fights, Joshua has knocked out his opponents in the 2nd or even 3rd round! This could suggest Joshua will Knockout Big Baby Miller in the 6th round, or even sooner! Fans around the world will argue that Joshua will win because he has the bigger reach and height advantage, however he never really utilized his height and reach advantage against Alexander Povetkin. He went to a low stance to have a straight on fight! Who do you think will win this bout?

Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder 2!

For months now, both fighters have been linked about having a second fight in the US. This has been happening since the end of December, with Anthony Joshua trying to get a fight with one of them as well. WBC have ordered these two to have another fight, however they haven’t settled and agreement yet! Sources say that Wilder’s team have been given an offer from Fury about the rematch and it’s a top rank offer! An offer that will most likely secure the fight! This could be another big fight that will take place in the US and could be a sold-out crowd! Wilder will need to improve from the last time these two fought because he didn’t really show everyone why he’s the best heavyweight… almost losing to Fury who was out of action for 3 years!

Deontay Wilder may not of train as hard as he could of for the fight in December because he may have believed that the fight will have been easy, but he was wrong! Far from right! Most likely this time he will be training harder for this one since he only just came out with a draw, when everyone believed Fury was the real winner! Fury will most likely still trash talk the American to try and get into his head, however this may not be as affective since the last time! All and all, if this fight does end up going through, we will be seeing someone get knocked out and or an actual winner since the WBC board believed that there was a clear-cut winner! Who will win the second bout between these two?

After Jarrell Miller… What’s Next for Joshua?

Anthony Joshua has one goal in mind… get all the major titles in the heavyweight division. He was trying to sort a fight out between him and Wilder, but this didn’t go through and now he must wait till after Jarrell Miller to fight him and or Fury! This will end up being the most watched Pay-per-view event in history, Joshua v Wilder or Joshua v Fury. Joshua v Wilder have been trash talking each other and have been missing out on great opportunities to fight, meaning they haven’t wanted or been able to fight. When Joshua went on the Graham Norton Show, he said “he’s (Wilder) got other options in the states that he’s interested in” meaning that it’s not the case they can’t get the fight to happen, there’s just better offers!

With Fury, Joshua’s team has put an offer in, Fury’s team just didn’t accept the terms and conditions, however this fight may not happen this year, since this year will be Joshua v Wilder… hopefully! Joshua has said he would love to fight Fury; however, he prefers Wilder since Fury doesn’t have anything! There isn’t many offers, and paths Joshua can go after this fight against Jarrell Miller other than fighting maybe Dillian Whyte again! “I’m going for all of (the belts). I’m not going to stop at this one now when I’ve come so far. Forget the money, who would I rather fight, Wilder or Fury? I’d rather fight Wilder because it’s an opportunity to fight for the belt.” Joshua Said! Who should he fight?
