With all the tension going on between Russia and Ukraine… One boxer has put it upon himself to defend his country and join the army. So far he is in the reserve army and he said on Wednesday the love for his country compelled him to defend it. Wladimir Klitschko is the man that has joined the Ukrainian army to defend it from the Russian’s as there is a massive threat with them!
The country, Ukraine, has been bracing themselves for a possible attack from the Russians as they are getting thousands of troops on the border and they have had plans to invade Ukraine, however nothing has happened yet.
Both the Klitschko brothers were present during the Territorial Defence Forces recruitment centre in the Capital and Klitschko said this.
“One district from here, my little girl is going to school. The school is currently closed because the ambassadors have sent the families home, It is the love, the love for my city, my home, my family, my neighbours, my daughter that has brought me here today, that I took this initiative and am now taking part in this territorial defense.”
