Devin Haney Beats George Kambosos!

Devin Haney went up against George Kambosos in a lightweight bout for all the titles that Haney has, which are the IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO world lightweight championships. This was the second fight that they had fact that he put up a good fight, therefore Devin Haney gave him the rematch and Devin Haney managed to deliver a masterclass performance to remain the lightweight world champion!

The American Haney, who is currently still unbeaten in his boxing career, retained his WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO belts against Kambosos in the Melbourne rematch. This was only four months after previously beating the Australian.

“He’s a warrior; I take my hat off to George Kambosos,  knew that he was looking for the jab so we wanted to show other tools in our arsenal,” added Haney, who extends his record to 29-0 with 15 knockouts. When I first came out, I didn’t expect him to be switching but I caught up with his timing and his angles and I started picking my shots.” Said Haney!

The judges scored the contest 119-109, 118-110, and 118-110.

What would be next for Devin Haney? There are a lot of fighters that he could face, the next could be one of three fighters, Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia, and Vasiliy Lomachenko!
