WBC board demanded Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury to fight for the WBC world heavyweight championship after their match in December was called a draw! These two were rejecting offers from the likes of Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte to secure their fight will be happening, however things didn’t work out that way! After months of negotiating, the fight isn’t happening. Tyson Fury has said he will be fighting someone else instead of Deontay Wilder! Fury decided not to fight Wilder after he unexpectedly signed a co-promotional deal at Top Rank! Now, it seems like both fighters are not interested in fighting, however this could make some very interesting match ups in the future, maybe even one that we have all been waiting for, or some we have been dying to see for years.

Wilder has said that he would want to fight Joshua after he fights Big Baby Jarrell Miller! This could be the biggest fight to happen this year, since it’s the fight that could unify the division and we could see who the best heavyweight in the division is! This is only if Joshua does end up beating the American. These two fighters have been at each other since they have been named the best heavyweights in the division and a lot of fans around the world have been waiting for a fight to happen, however this could change this year! We could be seeing the biggest fight happen this year! WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight championship on the line on Joshua’s side and WBC world heavyweight championship on the line on Wilder’s side. This will decide the best boxer in the world!
Wilder v Joshua would most likely happen a few months after the Jarrell Miller fight, and if Wilder gets a fight set up, we can only assume this fight is still a couple of months away, maybe 7 months away still! So, we are still going to be waiting for this fight to happen but, this could get announced at Madison Square Garden! Wilder could go and watch the fight and call out Joshua in the ring and get the bout set up and we can all see who the best heavyweight in the world is truly! Hopefully, we won’t be seeing any draws between these two fighters… only KOs!
