Over the weekend, Deji went up against a newly profound boxer that changed his life around boxing, Alex Wassabi. The event took place with some controversial decisions and some weird ones at that, however, the match for Deji ended with a loss for him.
This was said to be his last fight ever, as he did actually say this in the face-to-face that Alex and Deji had before her fight. This could have been his last fight, however, Deji has stated in a recent video he will continue.
After the fight, Wassabi said he wouldn’t mind fighting Deji once again, this could be the second fight for them but Deji’s last chance at redemption. As he will more than likely stop after losing 4 out of 4 fights due to the same issues.
This time was believed that Deji changed his trainer and only had 4 weeks to train with him, he also according to him managed to get Covid-19 and couldn’t train due to this.
