DAZN Going Global!

DAZN are wanting to make the app and there streaming service in general can expand to over 200 countries and territories very soon! The platform is hoping to launch in the UK before the Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell fight.

They were mainly a USA brand that only allowed US fans to watch boxing and UFC if they paid a certain amount each month, however now times have changed with DAZN now wanting to make the app available for everyone around the world.

“I have wanted to be international, I’m not going to pretend this was the road map. I do think that COVID gave us a chance to evaluate our plans.” During the pandemic, which hit Asia and Europe in January and February and then the U.S. in March, “we didn’t have live events. We really weren’t producing anything, we weren’t marketing anything. We weren’t buying new rights. So we did have a genuine chance to stop and kind of go, ‘What’s working and not working?’” Said the executive chairmen of DAZN.

They are hoping to launch DAZN in the UK by the 1st December 2020. With a £1.99 price tag or maybe even less than that. They will be having both the Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell fight, as well as the Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulve fight live on the app if purchased. Don’t miss out!
