On the 7th october 2018, Conor Mcgregor will be againest Khabib in UFC 229, but lets see what each fighter has achieved while being at UFC and how many fights both fighters have won, drawn and lost.
Conor Mcgregor
At UFC 205, Conor Mcgregor earned his place in history as one of the greatest martial arts fighter by becoming the first ever athlete to ever win and hold two world championship belts. His win loss record is incredible as well with amazing 23-3-0. We won’t remind him about what happened to him against Mayweather in boxing…
Khabib
From taking a picture with the Notorious, to having a the biggest UFC fight in history. Khabib has an icreble win record without a loss or a draw! And holding a championship belt. His record is 26-0-0 which is impressive and better than Mcgregor since he has only won 23 and drew 3. Will Khabib win the fight?

This contest had the potential to be the fight of the year and it turned in to a shambles. This behaviour, both before and post fight will not have done either the UFC, or MMA in general, any favours. Martial arts are supposed to be showcased inside the cage and the martial arts enthusiasts are not solely interested in the pugilistic prowess but also in the way the competitors conduct themselves. This kind of thuggish behaviour shows a complete lack of respect for the arena, the art and most importantly the spectators. Traditional martial art clubs that for the last 40 years or so could find in most towns, Karate, Judo Taekwondo, have been suffering due to the advent of and the popularity of MMA schools, should this kind of behaviour be allowed to continue unchecked, it is likely in my view, to force potential MMA students away from the mixed martial art schools and back towards the traditional schools where this kind of behaviour would never be tolerated.
Dana White, the president of the UFC as well as the leaders of other organisations such as Scott Cokers, Bellator, need to reign these idiots in and have them be respectful and let their fighting do the talking and not their big mouths. Look out the traditional schools out there, you may be getting an influx of students.
