Every single sporting event has fans, Golf, Football, Boxing and many many more across the world, no event is the same without fans and without anyone there watching them, however some boxing events could be forced to do this due to the most recent virus that has hit the world by storm. The coronavirus could be the reason why some boxing events will be under closed doors. This is not what boxing fans were hoping for but there is a huge risk due to the symptoms!
Anthony Joshua has already said that his event can’t be under closed doors because the sport won’t be the same, so, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom boxing has said your tickets will be refunded if you fall victim to the coronavirus. We have already seen PSG play a game under closed doors and we could be seeing more if this virus continues to spread around the world. This is not what anyone would want but the UK and everywhere could be in Lockdown if nothing changes.
