14th September could be big for both two, Saul Álvarez, currently known as the best middleweight fighter with only 1 loss to his name, could be going up against Demetrius Andrade, a fighter that has been said to beat Canelo alongside Callum Smith! Demetrius Andrade has been wanting and hoping to fight Canelo for some time now, maybe now he can get his chance to fight the unified middleweight champion of the world.
Eric Gomez and Eddie Hearn have been exchanging messages about this bout and have spoken about a potential deal that could be taking place in the near future. Eric Gomez is the president of Alvarez promoter Golden Boy Promotions and Eddie Hearn is the president of Matchroom boxing. This fight will be taking place on the 14th September if it goes through, Mexican Independence Day weekend!

There are other rumours however of Gennady Golovkin wanting to fight Canelo and they have been talking back and forth about their bout as well, however the fight between Canelo and Demetrius Andrade could be happening before Canelo and GGG. This is because Demetrius Andrade holds one of the middleweight titles which Canelo will be wanting to grab! The fight that everyone will want to see however is GGG v Canelo 3 since Gennady Golovkin believes he can beat the Mexican fighter.
