Can Coronavirus Stop Boxing This Year?

Boxing is coming back soon… sooner than most of us boxing fans thought and sooner than the fighters thought. Eddie Hearn has already got a lot of fights lined up for every fan out there to watch. With Dillon Whyte fighting Alexander Povetkin and Katie Taylor making a return to the ring as well. Boxing has finally made a return to the world and a new fight has been announced for the September bout on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr undercard but can coronavirus cause the world of boxing to go away once again?

Covid-19 is a strange virus that can kill anyone and everyone, this one virus has stopped major sporting events and has stopped a lot of travelling and made it so people were unable to see there friends and family for a while. This virus could stop boxing happening this year if the virus continues to spread. So far, no boxer has been infected with this virus but footballers have and if this virus ends up infecting boxers… they may have to stop all the fights until further notice. The virus could kill anyone after almost killing a healthy bodybuilder recently.

The US is the worst for the virus right now as they have got over 2,000,000 active cases and over 70,000 infected everyday the past few days. The most dangerous place in the world for COVID-19. The world of boxing has returned but for how much longer before they decide to stop it due to COVID-19 again?
