Anthony Joshua is looking to fight one of the best boxers in the heavyweight division, instead of fighting some who don’t deserve there chances! The main fight he wants is Deontay Wilder because he currently owns the WBC heavyweight Championship and Joshua wants to unify the division! This could go south however, since Wilder and Fury have been told they need to have a rematch, after a controversial draw! Even though Wilder is the one Joshua wants to fight, he may have to fight Dillain Whyte! This has happened in the past between these two, however this may not happen as well, due to Whyte saying he’s done with it all in his interview with Joshua on the 22nd December! This could be Whyte v Joshua 2! Have an epic battle between these two again! Could Whyte pull this off an win!
If Joshua isn’t fighting Wilder, Fury or Whyte in April then these are the two he could go up against!
Hughie Fury! Hughie Fury has been wanting a chance to fight Joshua for a while now. He’s been in fights that eliminated opponents and gain a chance to fight Joshua for his IBF title! Unfortunately for him he lost the fight against Pulve, however he could be a contender to fight Joshua if Fury doesn’t! Could Tyson Furys brother fight Joshua in April? Its a huge possibility with the amount of people not wanting to fight Joshua! Currently Hughie’s record is really good, 21 wins and only 2 loses! He could be one of 2 to fight Joshua.
Kurat Pulve is the second man that could fight Joshua! He was the main man in the IBF Championship elimination tournament and won the whole thing! Currently one of the best Bulgarians in boxing! Only losing 1 fight, he could be the man to defeat Joshua, however nothing has happened between these two since that match up. He has defeated the likes of; Chisora and Alexander Ustinov! Could this man beat Joshua?
Overall, Joshua is defintely to fight someone in April but his team needs to sort out a fight before its too late. Right now its Anthony Joshua v Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte! The fight will be one of the fights of the year if its one of these two, Joshua has said he is wanting to fight someone big so he can fight at Wembley again!
