Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is still known as one of the best fighters in the history of boxing, with only 2 losses to his name, one recently against Bivol. There is another challenge for the boxing star, however, Gennady Golovkin!
GGG is known as a great fighter, one of the best currently, however, he has only lost one fight, and that fight was against Canelo. Canelo managed to beat him in their rematch… Never been the same since.
There have been rumors of Canelo wanting to fight GGG for the third and final time.
“In the next few days we will announce the September fight, Surely, it will be against GGG because we already had that agreement, but I will also fight Bivol again.” Said Canelo.
This comes after what he agreed, as he wants to honor his agreement with both Bivol and GGG.
The fight between Gennady Golovkin and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is set to happen in September but with no date as of yet. This could decide who is the best fighter in the Middleweight division right now and who can be the best fighter.
This is what he had to say after his loss to Bivol!
“Unfortunately, we lost, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to try again. The important thing here is perseverance and we’re going to do it again, I think those are the two biggest fights in boxing, the fight with Golovkin and the rematch with Bivol.”
