UFC Fight Night In Sacramento
Germaine de Randamie and Aspen Ladd headline the UFC’s return to Sacramento this coming weekend, in what is set to be a hard-hitting bantamweight match up. Former featherweight champion de Randamie comes in as the favourite, as the number one ranked contender against the fourth ranked Ladd, but a victory here is likely to result in a title shot later in the year for either fighter
In the co-main event, Sacramento’s own Uriah Faber returns to action against Ricky Simon. Although he formally announced the end of his fighting career back in 2016, Faber kept all his registrations up to date (USADA, Fight Commissions etc) so that if an interesting offer was made to him, he would be able to compete. And that is exactly what happened. Ricky Simon is part of the new wave of fighters, looking to establish themselves as the new go-to guys – and three wins from three UFC appearances show his quality
