2023: The Year for Fury?

2022 is almost done, 2023 is almost here. Boxing has been incredible for Tyson Fury this year. The fights have been entertaining and more fights are yet to come!

Fury is still going strong at aged 34 years of age. Coming back after battling depression.

Tyson returned to boxing to fight Deontay Wilder and won the WBC world heavyweight championship off him. Becoming a world champion once again and aimed to fight Joshua for all the belts.

This went down hill as Joshua lost his belts to Usyk. This could build a fight for the undisputed champion and WBC champion however!

“Let’s give the fans one champion, one name, one face. He’s not an easy boxer to figure out, he’s slick, a southpaw, moves well, coming in on good form and I look forward to the challenge.

“But for whatever reason if we’re not able to do that, then we will have Joe Joyce at Wembley.

“I’ll do Usyk and then Joyce at Wembley as well. People have been asking me who is the tougher fighter and I think Joyce gives me a tougher fight.” said Fury.

This came after his win against Chisora in the 10th round via TKO.

Fury v Usyk is on the card now and could be at the start of 2023 or in the middle of 2023.
