A lot of people will know who this man is, he is the hero that raised money for the NHS, raising over £30 million pounds and donated it all to the NHS to help with Covid-19! The war veteran was thanked for his efforts in the war and now thanked for his efforts in trying to save peoples lives from Covid-19! Recently he celebrated his 100th birthday… in style! With the celebrations under way, this is the man that helped the world in the war and now with a pandemic! This man will be remembered forever.
The reason why he will be remembered is because he did laps of his garden to try and raise money… this was more than what he was thinking, he managed to get £30 million. This was a great gesture and great for the NHS. Since Covid-19 is going higher and higher, there is need a high chance that, that £30 million will do amazing for the NHS and will be great to if this changes the world.
Captain Tom Moore was also made an honorary colonel, and became an honorary member of the England Cricket team. This is great for the NHS and the laps in the garden has done extremely well.
