How to get to the Lake District Coast Aquarium?

The Lake District Coast Aquarium is located near the centre of Maryport. The way to get there via walking and or bus is by getting a number 30 bus that takes you to Maryport and or a 300 to Carlisle, getting off near the Waverly in Maryport. After this, walk past the Waverly and go up Curzon Street, once on this street, go down till you reach Senthouse Street. After this, make sure to keep going up that hill, past Greggs and Herons Food, and after this, you should see the sign and a bridge to get to the Aquarium. Alongside seeing this, there is a nice view of the harbour and more if you follow this route, however, this is the route someone would take to get there from Carlisle, Whitehaven, and or Workington. Depending on your location, this may vary.

About

This Aquarium is housed in many different types of sea life that some may or may not see while looking around in the ocean. There is a lot to explore once you enter the front doors, from Cafe and takeaways to a gift shop and the actual Aquarium. Once entering the Aquarium, everyone will be able to see the fishes, going all the way through and even challenging their kids, friends, or more. Since there are questions scattered all the way around the Aquarium. Not only this, everyone can learn about what the fishes are and what they are like as well with some information boards about the fish that you may be looking at!

Right now, due to Covid-19, there is a restriction on what you are able to do in the Aquarium, however, this is due to change as time goes on, this is only due to how many cases there were during the 2020 and 2021 outbreak of Covid-19. Once changed, rules will be back in place to make this a more fun and interesting environment.
