Recently, the grandson of the World War 2 fighter found his grandfather’s plane crash site, the one which killed his grandfather! This aircraft was nowhere to be seen, no one knew where it landed! Lieutenant Commander Ron Richardson was the name of the pilot that went on a mission to attack Germany’s base in Norway, however his plane got hit and went down to a remote island. No one, until now, had any idea where this plane went! The plane was known as the Hellcat Fighter plane and the first sighting of this aircraft was posted on YouTube! The crash site was 500km inside the Arctic Circle and the plane was left by the mountain top for so many years! Now, its been officially found by the grandson of the man that was killed in that plane! Lt Cdr Ronald A Richardson was born in 1917 but died in that crash in 1944.
