Volvo is recalling over 500,000 cars world wide after an investigation found a fault in the engine component which may cause the vehicle to catch fire. The Swedish car maker has just issued the recall this morning (July 22nd, 2019).

In the UK more than 69,000 cars are affected and Volvo will be contacting the customers. According to the company the plastic engine intake manifold could melt and deform which will cause a fire. There has been no reports of any incident of this happening yet.
