The Tunisian Authorities have named the attacker behind Monday’s suicide bombing in the capital, Tunis, as Mouna Guebla, a 30 year old unemployed graduate from the eastern region of Mahdia. This attack which no terrorist group has so far claimed responsibility for seems out of character given the woman concerned had no known radical ties and was not on any extremist watch list.
The explosive device seems to have been home made and thus it is possible that she acted alone out of desperation at her plight being unemployed like a huge proportion of Tunisian graduates, or was coerced. sadly we will never know for sure.
