With Coronavirus still up and running, many businesses are still debating whether or not to start up again, as others already have. Now there are some new rules when it comes to traveling in any public transport. Either its to work or home, you must follow these 3 important rules! These rules are for both Trains and Buses so one may be different than the other.

  1. Must wear protective masks
    1. This is a must-have essential when travelling, starting from the 15th of June. To reduce the spread on public transport and reduce the number of people getting the virus and effectively stopping those at risk from getting it.
  2. Follow the 2-meter rule at all times, unless you and the other person are living in the same household.
    1. This rule will most likely stay for a long time, however, buses are allowing people to sit in as long as there is a gap in between them. This is also on trains as well, to stop the virus from passing to the other person.
  3. Only use when you need to.
    1. Boris has said that he only wants people to use public transport if they really need to, so if you can’t get to work and back without it, you can use it.

The virus has caused so much to change and will continue to until something is done about it. Boris is trying to ease lockdown each week, but with more infections coming up… we could be going back into it, however,it is lower than before and lower than the old number of infected people!
