Over the coming weeks, the UK will see if the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and everyone else that attended all those lockdown parties will get fined or if they will get let off the hook for it. It’s said that the PM has until 22:00 GMT on Friday to answer the police questionnaire that was given to him and this questionnaire is about the lockdown parties on Downing Street!
Boris Johnson has been consulting his lawyers about his response and there will be some private lawyers who will be overseeing communications with the Met Police!
This statement and questionnaire given to the PM Boris Johnson is after the Sue Grey report that showed Boris Johnson and the rest of the workers on Downing Street has had some parties throughout lockdown. Some dating back to early March 2020, which is when the virus was at it’s deadliest as no one know the extent of the virus and how it would effect anyone!
This shouldn’t go unpunished as the PM Boris Johnson knew what the rules were and when everyone else was getting fined, the PM was partying, more than likely, the PM and the rest of Downing Street will be fined for this.
Lockdown parties were known to be the cause of all infections and the reason why the UK had a lot of cases, until they shut everywhere down! For more UK news, click here!
