Reports have suggested that four boys were found dead after falling through the ice into a frozen lake in the West Midlands. They have been named by the Police.
The incident took place in Birmingham and Black Country as four young boys went onto a frozen lake and fell through and tragically dead due to this.
“As a family we are devastated at the loss of our beautiful boys Tom, Fin and Sam in such tragic circumstances,” said their parents in a statement released by West Midlands Police.
“We would like to thank the emergency services for all they did in rescuing the boys and to the community for their support – it has been overwhelming.
“We would like to pass on our condolences to Jack’s family at this very sad time, and ask for privacy from the media to begin to grieve.”
The boys were named after a few days.

Finlay Butler, aged 8. His younger brother Samuel, aged 5. As well as their cousins Thomas Stewart who was aged 11 and Jack Johnson who was aged 10.
The families have been notified and will be in the care of the Police after the tragic news.
