In Canada, there is currently a lawsuit happening with the creators of Fortnite due to their children not eating or sleeping.
The plaintiffs say their children would forgo sleeping, eating and even taking a shower due to them constantly on the game known as Fortnite.
Fortnite is a free to play third person shooter that is designed for kids and adults. Going into the world and surviving against 100 players and winning the game via a battle royal.

The lawsuit is against the game’s maker, Epic Games, and its Canadian subsidiary.
“industry-leading parental controls that empower parents to supervise their child’s digital experience”.
“Parents can receive playtime reports that track the amount of time their child plays each week, and require parental permission before purchases are made,” the company said.
“We plan to fight this in court. We believe the evidence will show that this case is meritless,” Said Epic Games in a statement.
As the game gets more advanced, the player base continues to grow. The legal action claims the game was deliberately developed to be highly addictive.
This popular game will more than likely continue and the parents will keep going until something is done.
