A 24-year-old man by the name of Joe Atkinson attack his ex-girlfriend with a kitchen knife on the 14th December! They both lived in the same flat in the Avenue, Leeds! Former Girlfriend sustained more than 100 injures which included the 70+ knife wounds, that’s what the court was told! Joe Atkinson regretted what he did and ended up turning himself in since he couldn’t live with it! The reason why he murdered her was because he was jealous of what was happening and ended up doing that! Jealous rage. The court said he could be staying in Jail for life but minimum time in jail is 15 years and 316 days!

Poppy Devey was considered as a mathematician from her colleagues from work. She worked as an analyst at William Hill. The pair were reportedly together for longer than 3 years and broke up late 2018, Poppy was the one that broke up with him! “I kept scraping my hands across the floorboards where she had been left screaming and dying. “I just wanted to scoop her up and save her.” Julie Devey said in her impact statement! The man responsible will be locked away for life, but at minimum 15 years!
