Mexican Drug Lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán has been sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years and also fined an eye-watering $10bn. El Chapo who is now 62, was found guilty of 10 charges, including drug trafficking and money laundering, by a federal court in New York in February. Sadly the more serious charges of murder and being a Paedophile were not included but he will see out his remaining days in a maximum-security prison, hopefully, one more secure than the two he previously escaped from.
