Presidential candidate Joe Biden remains the front-runner for the Democratic nomination despite getting a rough ride in the latest televised debate. For those not familiar with US Presidential candidate debates they are not what you expect – being more about mudslinging and personal attacks than discussing important future policy issues. He was attacked on his race record by Senator Kamala Harris, but given none of the candidates are without substantial amounts of political baggage he came through relatively unscathed. Senator Harris did gain a few brownie points for helping to restore order though when the debate broke down into a free for all shouting match at one point. Overall Joe Biden probably remains the early favourite to take on President Trump however we were quite impressed at times with Ms Harris.
