Covid-19 infections are still big and at its peak. The UK is still in a lockdown type system as of the 2nd of December that will stop the virus from spreading in more than one place and stop spreading from bar to pub. The virus is hard to detect and hard to know if the average person has it or if it is just a really bad cold, however, the NHS has said if the average person feels a high temperature and a contagious cough, then the average person must stay at home and get tested.

The virus infection rate was rising none stop when the UK was in the tier system before going into full lockdown with some being slightly different, however, this time, lockdown managed to help the UK’s infection rate go down by 30%. This could suggest after this month, the UK could be back into lockdown after a month of not being in lockdown if infection rates don’t go down at all.

The R infection has gone down below 1 yet again since September, which is good for the UK. This is post lockdown and with this happening, lockdown could have a third lockdown if the infection rate goes back up.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the tier system needs to be improved and he thinks that this time around, this tier system should help the UK stay the same in infection rates and or have some slightly different results, however the last time this happened, the UK went into lockdown with over 30,000 cases a day.
