In the UK, Boris Johnson announced that the UK is going to have some different rules for Christmas, however, the rise in Covid-19 cases has been sky high since they took the UK out of lockdown and into a new and improved tier system that has seemingly not worked at all. Even Boris Johnson said it himself… The Tier system needs to be improved more if it is wanting to stop the spread of Covid-19, and or better known as Coronavirus!
Covid-19 has been sweeping the nation with more and more people infected with this each and every day. So far, over 70,000,000 people have been infected with this virus since the virus began in Wuhan, China, however, with the news rules coming into play, Boris Johnson could announce a third and final lockdown in 2021 to try and stop the spread from getting worse and worse.
Right now, the UK is seeing more infections than any other place in Europe, with Spain going down the list and even Germany is getting better, as the UK has seen more cases each day since lockdown ended at the start of December.
Lockdown could be the way everyone seems to think this could end, as when this started everyone thought that this would end by the end of the year, meaning that Christmas wouldn’t be affected by anything. Lockdown the first time did help, however, it lasted far too long for everyone’s liking as there was no way certain businesses could go out of business!
