Since the virus began in Wuhan back in November, there has always been cases of the virus however, for the first since the virus was made aware of, there has been no new confirmed cases in Wuhan and this is a huge step up for China and proof that what they did to stop the virus spreading worked the way they wanted it to. This is a huge step up in developing a cure since they have stop the spread from growing at a rapid pace.
This is huge for China, now that they have survived this with no cases, this could mean the UK will follow. Now China has 6,000 and more cases now, as Italy has more and more cases each day and they are currently in Lockdown, so time will tell if this happens.
The UK maybe going into lockdown very soon due to this virus and Boris has urged people to work from home if possible! China have managed to contain the virus and it’ll be able to develop the cure without worrying about the spread right now, could be more cases in China that is there and they don’t know about it, however right now they have no new cases since last week!
