Coronavirus is massive and can kill anyone that has been infected with this virus, killing almost 750,000 people and over 12,192,503 people recovering from it, it doesn’t seem as deadly as people may seem to think but it is the infection rate that is causing the issues.
Towns and City’s around the world are going into local lockdown to stop the spread of the virus getting worse and worse and with the virus in the UK slowing down and then speeding up… there are only a few things they can do stop the spread once and for all and without causing another lockdown of the UK.
Local Lockdown has been implemented into certain places to stop the virus from spreading more and more in that one place. Boris introduced this in a coronavirus briefing say that certain cities were to be put onto lockdown to see if it stops the spread instead of having a full lockdown.
The main city right now is Carlisle.

Carlisle is now on the list for local lockdown due to the city’s infection rate going up a massive amount and some pubs and restaurants closing due to the virus infecting near enough everyone in there with some staff member testing positive as well as some not. Lloyds bar is the place where Covid-19 was spotted and traced back to therefore most of the people in there had to do a test when they found out someone with COVID was there at the same time they were.
This could work for Carlisle or could cause the city to have more and more infections, later on, however this has not happened just yet but they could be on the cards right now.
