The vote on the Brexit deal is set to go ahead despite there being major concerns about the controversial Backstop. The indications are that it will be rejected, however the DUP have indicated that they will support the Conservatives on any ensuing vote of confidence. Prime Minister Teresa May has reiterated that without the Backstop the EU won’t agree to any deal. Looks like turbulent times ahead.
