Nothing like a bit of good old fashioned Nepotism in politics and Jair Bolsonaro, the far-right president of Brazil, has embraced the concept wholeheartedly inviting his son to become ambassador to the US. This adds to the other family members who are now ensconced in top jobs since his election.
Eduardo Bolsonaro currently a congressman and foreign affair advisor looks likely to accept the post and will probably be more welcome in the US than Sir Kim Darroch was given Brasil’s pro-Trump stance.
Hmm… I wonder who I can appoint as US Ambassador – Of Course My Son!
