Current Prime Minister Boris Johnson was told to stay at home after being tested positive for coronavirus, however was said to come back to leading after a week and being told he was not able to go out due to him having the virus. He continued to have these symptoms and now has been spending time overnight in a hospital cause of these symptoms. The PM was taken to the London hospital and will be treated there while having some serious symptoms like a temperature. He was tested positive 10 days ago and currently still has the virus right now and will be staying in hospital overnight to see if the doctors can treat him.
While being in the hospital, it is said that he is going to be in charge while in hospital and will still be giving order to the country while there. “We hope that as a result of these tests [the prime minister] will be able to come back to Downing Street as soon as possible. He’s been working extremely hard leading the government and being constantly updated. That’s going to continue.” Mr Jenrick told BBC breakfast. Boris will be better soon as some people say and will continue to say until he is better.
From all this, there could be another lockdown rule made since the virus is still spreading across the UK. We could be getting told we are not allowed to go outside for exercise anymore and the police could have more control to stop the virus from spreading much more than it already is. We have seen more and more people die of this virus and it is still spreading, so the PM could be having stricter rules to stop the virus from spreading.
