Due to the most recent outbreak of coronavirus, studios and TV producers are having to move there studio to there houses and or flats, where they have ended up. Some studios are doing better than others during this pandemic as others are doing awful but there are some questions to be asked for these producers since some people may think they need something that they don’t have anymore… If one of them tell a joke and without an audience to laugh at the joke… are they really funny?
“A studio audience brings a lot of energy and pace, and they’re also markers for how we should be feeling at home, Without them, a lot of programmes have a very different atmosphere.” said Frances Taylor. Some TV shows have been taken by surprise with how much more audience they have received during lockdown. More than usual, therefore more for whe they get back to the studio in the future when the outbreak finally goes away.
So the question is, are some shows better off without an audience? Some are and some aren’t. Some shows have the audience to help there show work and help with the segments they have chosen to make the show more enjoyable, however without this, there show will be boring if they have nothing to talk about, however the shows that had an audience but just talked with a celebrity, they will be fine and gaining more viewers due to the fact of FaceTime and Instagram story live. Other shows will be doing better with this in mind!
