The sun is starting to make an appearance again therefore we need to bring out the sunscreen. The best sunscreens do not have to be expensive and Aldi is proving this theory – they have for £1.99 which is better than most sunscreens you see on the selves.
According to Channel 5 Shop Smart the Adli sunscreen is protecting us better from UV rays compared to popular sunscreens. The show compared six sunscreens which are popular – Garnier Ambre Solaire, Nivea Sun, Piz Buin, Boots, Superdrugs and Aldi. Screen has a ranking system of stars, 5 stars is the highest level of protection you can get. Aldi’s Lacura sunscreen has a 5 star ultra rating and so did Boots Soltan and Superdrug’s Solait. This means they are offering a high level of protection – they are also at a very good price point with all of them being under £10.
The Aldi Lacura SPF 30 moisturising Sun lotion gives you 24 hour moisturisation and is water resistant so you do not have to worry about reapplying after being in water.
Aldi also do a sun spray which is available in SPF 15 and SPF 30, it is only £2.99. It is enriched with vitamin E and Edelweiss flower extract and it is not greasy or streaky. If you do not like the white sun lotions and spray Aldi have also brought out some clear sunscreen.
