For many acne sufferers finding a foundation to cover their acne can be hard and if they do find the right coverage many will have no staying power.
However, many have found the perfect foundation which has the right amount of coverage and stays put without looking cakey – the best bit is that it is only £9!
The “holy grail” foundation is the Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation. This foundation is a light weight and buildable so it will not feel heavy on the skin – also great for summer. It is oil-free but creamy, it comes in 50 shades so there is something for everyone. It is a demi-matte finish which will not settle into fine lines or cling to spots/dy patches.
Skin positivity blogger Abbie Bull shared before-and-after photos with the foundation earlier this year. Abbie Bull suffers from acne and she is amazed with how her complexion looks with the foundation.
Here are Abbie’s before and after pictures which show the power of the foundation.
The foundation has a jumbo doe-foot applicator so can cover a wide area and product can be focused on hard-to-treat blemishes.
Abbie also used the brands concealer and banana powder for her look.
The concealer is just like the foundation, it is a dupe for Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer; the best part is that it is only £4 for the regular size and £7 for the large size! The Revolution Conceal & Define Supersize Concealer is lightweight but is still full coverage, it is a matte finish which will not settle into fine lines and pores.
The banana power is the Revolution Loose Baking Powder Banana. This is a finely milled powder which brightens the skin. You only apply it to areas you want to brighten up. Revolution do three types which are:
Banana Light – brightening for light skin tones
Banana – brightening for medium skin tones
Banana Deep – brightening for medium to dark skin tones.
