ASOS have apologised for leaving two bulldog clips on a dress for sale on their website. They were clearly visible and were being used to hold the dress in place whilst creating more shape. One shopper spotted the mistake and took to social media to post about it. The clips have now been edited out but now many online shoppers are left wondering if online shops are misleading sizing.

ASOS responded to the tweet in 10 minutes and later that day the clips were edited and were nowhere to be seen.
In their response to the tweet the online fashion retailer said: “Hi Ronnie, thank you for raising this with us. We’re sorry to hear the clips are showing in the picture. We’ll now raise this with our specialist team. If you have any questions please send us a message we’d be happy to help.”
Many people have not stopped talking about the mistake and then the anger spread to more general concerns about the way things are meant to fit and how they actually do fit when they arrive into the hands of the customer.
Or can you stop adding clips because it’s misleading when the product arrives and is completely different in real life? Show us how it really fits

ASOS stocks more than 850 brands and ships all over the world, last year they warned of profit growth slowing.
The tweet now has over 63.8K likes with 19.2K talking about it. However one person had a suggestion as to why the clips could have been used, explaining: “It could be cos they don’t have her size so she is wearing a size too big for her. I work in retail and if we don’t have the right size clothes for the mannequins we put on a bigger size and clip it like this, I could be wrong tho [sic].”
