The Oscars red carpet officially labelled pink as the colour of the season

At last night’s Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles stars took to the red carpet to show off their amazing outfits. There was one colour that was seen on many and made it the colour of the night. Several stars opted for pink as their colour but every shade of pink was to be seen, baby pink to hot pink.

Below you will find some of the stars that showed up in pink and wore it well!

Gemma Chan was seen wearing a fuchsia Valentino dress with a high ruffled neck and a flowy skirt.

On the other hand, Kacey Musgraves opted for a pastel pink with a high collar and lots of ruffles.

Helen Mirren also went pink, neglecting more subtle options for a punchy watermelon take by Schiaparelli, while actress Maya Rudolph added a floral print to her traditionally feminine base tone.

Linda Cardelini embraced the pink ruffles in a dress that came together in an oversized pale pink bow at the stomach.

The pink did not stop there as Julia Roberts presented the award for the best picture in a one shoulder pink dress with heels to match.
