The beauty industry are trying to make their products more environmentally-friendly so less packaging ends up in the sea and causing harm to the environment.
One brand in particular have done that, Gosh Copenhagen have made their packaging for their latest foundation out of 40% of ocean waste! The recycled plastic packaging is collected from beaches, rivers and oceans across the world!
Gosh Copenhagen told GLAMOUR: “We work after the principles reduce – reuse – recycle and this is a step in the right direction for a more environmentally friendly structure”.

When recycling ocean waste at factories it reduces the amount of CO2 being produced by 56%. One of these foundations is taking 10 plastic bags from the ocean! It is a small step but it is one that will make a small but good difference!
The foundation is a matte satin finish and promises a full coverage all day long! It currently only comes in four shades which is not the best…
