Victoria Beckham has already ensures that there is no animal fur in any of her fashion collections but now she is gone one step further and has promised that exotic animal skins are set to be banned from her lines as well.
In a statement, the brand confirmed, “Victoria Beckham will cease the use of exotic skins in all collections as of AW19. The Victoria Beckham brand has never used fur in its clothing or accessories collections and confirmed last year that the brand will remain fur-free.”
The news has been praised by PETA director, Elisa Allen, who said: “”Behind every crocodile, alligator, snake, or lizard handbag or pair of shoes is a violent death. Victoria Beckham’s decision to ban exotic skins will spare countless remarkable animals immense suffering, and PETA calls on other luxury brands to follow her kind example.”
The announcement was made just days before her London Fashion Week show and is following many brands who are following anti-animal cruelty way. Chanel has plans to no longer use fur or exotic skins in further collections as well as Diane Von Furstenberg and Vivienne Westwood have also joined the anti-cruelty movement.
PETA have praides all fashion brands who are doing this and say they are making a “compassionate decision.”

‘I don’t want to rush anything; I know, as a woman, what I want. It feels like the start of a new chapter.’
She added: ‘Having brought on investors, an incredible chairman in Paris, our new offices and return to London, and now Paolo Riva coming on as CEO, it just feels like the start of the next 10 years.’
