Manny Pacquiao to Retire Soon!

Manny Pacquiao is a Philippian born fighter that showed us all what he can do! He was and still is one of the best fighters in the Welterweight Division! He turned 40 a month ago, on the 17th December, and could be retiring soon! He has managed to turn the Welterweight division upside down and made the sport worth watching! He won’t be retiring yet however, he has a fight against Adrien Broner for the WBA world welterweight Championship, this fight will take place on the 19th January… only 4 days away! This might not be Manny’s last fight but could be one of his last fights. Manny Pacquiao will be remembered as one of the best boxers of our time. Fighting so many fights and still fighting the high-end boxers! Let’s take a look back on Manny’s career and see why his career was so great!

Manny Pacquino was born on the 17th December 1978 in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Philippines and started boxing at the age of 14 and started professional boxing at the age 16 but, had his first professional fight on the 22nd January 1995. Manny was up against Edmund Enting Ignacio, who at the time had 1 win. He managed to beat him on points through Unanimous Decision! He went on to fight 10 more fights unbeaten before fighting Rustico Torrecampo. Rustico managed to beat Manny by KO in the 3rd round! Even though he lost, he still managed to win more and more fights! In 2015, he went up against Floyd Mayweather, one of the best boxers at the time, manging to stay the whole 12 rounds but losing on points to the king of boxing! Throughout his career, he managed to have 69 bouts, he won 60 fights and 39 via KO, only lost 7 with 3 coming from KO and drew 2! His best fight was against the all time great Floyd Mayweather! Lasting the whole 12 rounds and only losing the fight on points! He truly is one of the best!
