This event took place the same day as Ryan Garcia’s event took place, however this one involved two TikTokers that were having so called “beef” online and wanted to settle the scores with a fight. The fight was announced and thousands of fans were ready to see these two go at it and ready to see who would actually win this fight. The odds were outnumbered for one of the fighters though.
The fight between Ed Matthews, an 19 year old TikTok start which has been deemed to be known as a bad influencer by the BBC, and Simon Colbran, TikTok name is Simple Simon and he is a 52 year old man that was set for the challenge!
Both TikTok “Stars” started training and had two press conferences in the lead up to the fight, with them still going at it over social media too. Ed Matthews was the favourite as he was the youngest out of the two.
The fight took place recently and the fight was set for 5 rounds by the looks of it, however the fight didn’t last a minute. As it stands one of the quickest YouTube/TikTok boxing event to ever take place.
52 Year Old Simon went into the fight with some experience after training and even sparred Ed Matthews brother, however that training meant nothing as he managed to lose in the first round and in 30 seconds.
After the contest, the contestants showed respect from the fight and even started calling out other TikTok stars and YouTube stars together. Greg Paul was named and Bryce Hall.
