Earlier this year it was announced that Chanel’s former creative director and designer, Karl Lagerfeld, had been working on a make-up collection with L’Orèal before his death. The cosmetic brand have revealed details of the collection.
The collection consists of six lipsticks, two liquid eyeliners, an eyeshadow palette, a mascara and a powder highlighter which are all budget friendly. Every piece of the collection has Lagerfeld’s signature on.
L’Orèal confirmed that the packaging was all illustrated by Lagerfeld before he passed away. The brand worked with his team to help finalise the products after his passing.
Caroline Lebar, Head Of Image And Communication at the Karl Lagerfeld fashion house, said: ‘This line of make-up truly reflects the Karl Lagerfeld brand universe and what Karl loved in make-up.
‘Karl liked it when a collaboration resonated with a brand and would make a real impact on many people,’
The lipsticks is full of nudes, pinks, a brown and a red which are all highly pigmented with a glossy look finish. The liquid eyeliners come in a black shade and a sultry metallic. The eyeshadow palette features 9 shades which has pinks, blues, blacks and greens in. The highlighter is a two toned highlighter with a lighter shade around the outside and a gold on the inside.
The collection will launch on September 20th on ASOS and will release elsewhere on September 27th.
