This breed is a very powerful looking one, this breed is the result of crossing an Old English Mastiff with a Bulldog. The Bullmastiff was originally breed to help track down poachers. But since then they have become a very popular companions not only in the Uk but everywhere else in the World too. They are known for their intelligent and for being alert. These dogs are also known for being easy to train.
The males of this breed are slightly taller than the females and weigh much more than the females. This dog are courageous and extremely loyal. They will form a very strong bonds with their owners and will need to be taught socialisation very quickly at a young age and known their place in the ‘pack’ or family. This is because they will try and be in charge of the house. This dog is not advised for a first time owner. These dogs are very high in energy and need to have experience with powerful dogs such as this breed.
The average life span for this breed is between 8 and 10 years when they are given the right diet for their age and are in a safe and stable environment.
