These cat are extremely good house pets they get on well with children and other pets. They are very devoted to there owners and often get a special bond with a family member and single them out to be the favourite. They can be vocal at times but have a very gentle sweet voice.
This breed are very intelligent and love to play they make a good house cat and even lap cat loving an attention and affection they may receive from their owners.
The American Bobtail can live to around the age of 15. This breed is known to be healthy and with the right care and food can sometimes live longer but the cat just like any breed will still need check ups at a vets to keep their health in perfect order.
This breed is more picky when it comes to food and prefers to have chicken treats and water to drink rather than milk as it is known for upsetting their stomach. They also need groomed regularly as they have a long coat
